Weaving for Justice honored International Women’s Day during the weekend of March 8-10, 2024 with a special presentation and sale. In February of 2024, on a trip to Chiapas, Weaving for Justice members Gail Forrest and Christine Eber interviewed and photographed members of Maya weaving collectives and Maya students. Later, Weaving for Justice member Guillermo Acosta created a slideshow presentation using the images and quotes. This video played at the International Women’s Day event.
