Author Dylan Eldredge Fitzwater will discuss his new book at the Weaving for Justice storefront in Las Cruces at 525 E. Lohman (Suite C, upstairs). The talk will begin at 6:30pm. Coffee and handcrafted items from Zapatista communities will be for sale before and after the talk.
Autonomy Is in Our Hearts discusses the Zapatista movement of Chiapas, Mexico, specifically the “autonomous government system through the conceptual language of Tsotsil imparted to [the author] by his Zapatista teachers”.
